- The Trail - Our ride is perfect for the adventurous first timer or infrequent rider. Our trail meanders through a beautiful variety of terrain: open fields, forest, and hills. Lush Rhododendron marshes, carpeted with moss and fern and fed by seasonal fresh-water springs add to beauty of the trails.
(The ride takes about one hour (including time for instruction before leaving the barn area.)
- What to wear- Most important - safe footwear: a shoe or boot with a heel and smooth sole (coarse tread is not recommended) We provide riding boots and will require their use if needed. Also clothing suitable to weather conditions.
- Reservations Policy - Credit card number required to reserve. You must arrive by your check-in time. You are responsible to allow sufficient time to arrive at the stable on time. Allow time for traffic etc. We have limited spaces and Do charge for missed rides. Even one member of your party drops out give us and hour cancelation notice.
- Advanced Riders - We do not have special accommodations for non-beginners. We'd love to have you come along if you can enjoy a relaxed ride through some pleasant scenery.
- Special Needs Riders - We are NOT a special needs riding facility. That is a specialized area of the riding field. It requires special certification and facilities. However we do our best to safely accommodate highly functional individuals. You must call ahead to discuss these situations.
